How to be 100% sure?

If your car was manufactured before 2017 - choose the R134a kit.

1. Prep the hose: Ensure the pin in the valve is fully retracted (turn the knob fully anti-clockwise/left), then screw the can firmly onto the hose.
2. Connect: Start the engine, set the temperature to the lowest setting and the AC blower to "MAX". Locate the LP port under the bonnet (usually on the thicker aluminium pipe) and snap on the quick-coupler (you will hear a "click").
3. Fill: Turn the knob clockwise/right (to pierce the can), turn the can upside down, and open the valve.
4. Monitor: Charge until the gauge needle stabilizes in the green zone (40-45 PSI).
5. Finish: Close the valve, disconnect the hose, and enjoy the cool air!

1. Is CarFix gas safe for my car and the environment?
   Without a shadow of a doubt. Our product is based on natural hydrocarbons which are completely neutral for the ozone layer. Crucially, unlike the factory R1234yf gas, CarFix does not release toxic substances in the event of ignition. The system operates at optimal pressure, which further protects components from wear and tear.
   
2. Can I mix CarFix with the factory gas in the system?
   Absolutely. The formula is fully compatible with the R1234yf refrigerant currently in your system. There is no need to empty the system before application. Just remember to monitor the pressure to ensure you don't exceed the recommended level (green zone on the gauge).
3. How do I know where the LP valve is?
   You need to look for the Low-Pressure (LP) port, which is generally located on the thicker aluminium pipe. In R1234yf systems, the connectors have specific dimensions. Our quick-coupler is designed to fit only the correct LP socket - confusing it with the High-Pressure (HP) port is physically impossible.
   
4. What if my AC system is completely empty?
   The contents of one CarFix can correspond to the amount of gas required for standard passenger cars. If you have a larger vehicle (like a large SUV or Van) or the system is completely empty, we recommend purchasing a kit with two cans for optimal results.
5. Will this kit fix every leak?
   The sealing component in the 5-in-1 formula handles porous rubber elements (O-rings) and minor aluminium leaks effectively. However, please bear in mind that for serious mechanical damage (e.g., a condenser pierced by a stone), the gas will escape. This product is designed for maintenance and regeneration, not major structural repairs.
   
6. Can I do this if I know nothing about cars?
   Yes, definitely. This product was created for drivers who want to perform the service themselves. The entire procedure is limited to connecting a hose and opening a valve, without using spanners or specialist equipment.
