How to be 100% sure? It's simple. Open the hood and look for the information sticker (often yellow or white). If the symbol "R1234yf" is visible there – this kit is perfect for your car. If your car was manufactured before 2017 – choose the R134a kit.

1. Prepare the kit: Screw the YF adapter onto the end of the hose. Ensure the needle in the valve is retracted (knob fully to the left), then screw the can tightly onto the hose.
2. Connect: Start the engine, set the temperature to the lowest and the A/C fan to "MAX". Locate the LP port under the hood and plug in the adapter's quick-connector (you will hear a "click").
3. Fill: Turn the knob to the right (to puncture the can), turn the can upside down, and unscrew the valve.
4. Observe: Load until the gauge needle stabilizes in the green zone (40-45 PSI), taking the ambient temperature into account.
5. Done: Close the valve, disconnect the hose, and enjoy the cool air!

2. Can I mix CarFix with the factory gas in the system? Of course. The recipe is fully compatible with the R1234yf refrigerant currently in the system. There is no need to empty the installation before application. Just remember to monitor the pressure so as not to exceed the recommended value (green range on the gauge).
3. How do I know where the LP valve is located? Look for the Low Pressure (LP) port, usually located on the thicker aluminum line. In R1234yf systems, the connectors have a specific size. Our quick-connector is designed so that it only fits the correct LP socket – a mistake with the high-pressure (HP) port is physically impossible.
4. What if my air conditioning is completely empty? The content of one CarFix package corresponds to the amount of gas required in standard passenger cars. For larger vehicles (large SUVs, Vans) or when the system is completely empty, we recommend getting a kit with two cans for optimal results.
5. Will this kit fix every leak? The sealing component in the 5-in-1 formula handles pores in rubber elements (o-rings) and minor aluminum leaks. However, keep in mind that with serious mechanical damage (e.g., a radiator pierced by a stone), the gas will escape. The product is intended for maintenance regeneration.
6. Can I handle this if I don't know anything about mechanics? Absolutely. The product was created for drivers who want to perform the service themselves. The entire procedure is limited to plugging in the hose and opening the valve, without using wrenches or specialized equipment.
