Most products on the market simply top up the refrigerant. CarFix features an innovative formula that acts as a comprehensive AC service in 5 stages:

Before buying, please check under the bonnet:

• Do you own a Renault (Laguna II, Megane II/III, Espace IV) or a Nissan (2003-2009)?
  These cars often lack an LP port and only have a High-Pressure (HP) port. If you see only one valve, you will need an adapter.

1. Prep the hose: Ensure the pin in the valve is fully retracted (turn the knob fully anti-clockwise/left), then screw the can firmly onto the hose.
2. Connect: Start the engine, set the temperature to the lowest setting and the AC blower to "MAX". Locate the LP port under the bonnet (usually on the thicker aluminium pipe) and snap on the quick-coupler (you will hear a "click").
3. Fill: Turn the knob clockwise/right (to pierce the can), turn the can upside down, and open the valve.
4. Monitor: Charge until the gauge needle stabilizes in the green zone (40-45 PSI).
5. Finish: Close the valve, disconnect the hose, and enjoy the cool air!

1. Is CarFix gas safe for my car and the environment?
   Yes. The preparation is a blend of natural hydrocarbons that is 100% ozone-safe. It is actually "healthier" for your car than the original R134a gas - CarFix operates at a lower pressure, which significantly reduces the load on the compressor and extends its lifespan. Additionally, it does not form acids when in contact with moisture, eliminating the risk of internal corrosion.
2. Can I mix CarFix with the remaining old gas in the system?
   Yes. The CarFix formula is fully compatible and mixes with R134a refrigerant. You do not need to drain the system completely before using our kit. Just remember to monitor the pressure gauge while topping up and do not overfill the system (keep the needle in the green zone).
3. How do I know where the LP valve is?
   Look for the Low-Pressure (LP) port. It is typically located on the thicker aluminium pipe and is covered by a black or blue cap. The port diameter is approximately 11 mm. Our quick-coupler fits ONLY the LP port, so physically, you cannot connect it to the wrong place (the HP port is larger), unless your car requires an adapter (e.g., some Renault models).
4. What if my AC system is completely empty?
   One can of CarFix contains the equivalent of 453g of R134a. This amount is sufficient to fill the system in most standard passenger cars (where system capacity is usually 450-600g). However, if you have a large vehicle (SUV, Van, People Carrier) or your system is bone dry, we recommend purchasing a double-can kit to ensure full cooling performance.
5. Will this kit fix every leak?
   CarFix 5-in-1 contains a sealant that effectively stops micro-leaks in rubber components (O-rings, seals) and small leaks in aluminium parts. However, please note that if there is major mechanical damage (e.g., a hole in the condenser from a stone chip, or a snapped pipe), the gas will escape. This product is for regenerative maintenance, not for repairing physically broken parts.
6. Can I do this if I know nothing about cars?
   Absolutely. The kit was created specifically for individual car owners. The entire process comes down to connecting the hose (a simple "click") and turning a valve. You don't need any extra tools. Every kit comes with instructions, and video tutorials are available on our website.
