At CarFix, we are not waiting until the last minute \u2014 we already offer technologies and products that comply with the upcoming regulations. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf0d Key facts and timeline:<br\/><br\/>1. The new EU Regulation 2024\/573 is effective from 11 March 2024. <br\/>\u2022 A quota system for the introduction of HFCs is already in place.<br\/>\u2022 From 2025, additional restrictions, e.g. a ban on the export of equipment containing HFCs with a GWP of \u2265 1000. <br\/><br\/>2. Target of 0% HFC by 2050.<br\/>\u2022 The EU announces the complete phase-out of HFCs by 2050. <br\/><br\/>3. Bans on placing on the market by type of equipment:<br\/>\u2022 From 2025: commercial refrigerators and freezers with HFC GWP \u2265 150.<br\/>\u2022 From 2026: domestic refrigerators and freezers, unless required for safety reasons.<br\/>\u2022 From 2027 to 2035, further bans on heat pumps, split air conditioners and monoblock air conditioners up to 12 kW:<br\/>\u2022 monoblock air conditioners up to 12 kW \u2013 from 2032<br\/>\u2022 split air conditioners up to 12 kW \u2013 from 2035<br\/><br\/>4. Service bans:<br\/>\u2022 From 2025, a ban on the use of new HFCs with a GWP of &gt; 2500 in small refrigeration systems;<br\/>\u2022 From 2026, HFCs with a GWP of &gt; 2500 in air conditioners and heat pumps;<br\/>\u2022 From 2032, a service limit of GWP \u2264 750.   <br\/><br\/>5.
