CarFix 5in1 Repair R1234yf – a replacement for R1234yf – is a revolutionary product with comprehensive action, designed for DIY comprehensive air conditioning service:
- in less than 5 minutes, without having to visit a specialist workshop,
- without the use of specialised service tools and without creating a vacuum of 23 hPa.
CarFix gas is completely environmentally friendly and does not contribute to the greenhouse effect.
It mixes successfully with R134a gas, and its components include 5 substances:
- dry the A/C system and protect it from harmful water particles
- seal rubber components of the system, i.e. O-rings,
- seal aluminium components, e.g. pipes
- PAG synthetic oil lubricates the air conditioning compressor,
- gas refills the refrigerant to the required level.
It is completely safe for the air conditioning system:
- does not adversely affect the compressor or other components,
- non-corrosive,
- does not form acids when combined with moisture.
*Effect of ambient temperature on pressure gauge readings
When refilling the refrigerant, always take the ambient temperature into account. The pressure of the refrigerant in the air conditioning system depends directly on the temperature — the higher the ambient temperature, the higher the readings on the pressure gauge, even with the same amount of refrigerant.
Below are some examples of dependencies (ambient temperature; pressure gauge reading):
- 18°C; 25 – 31 PSI (1,72 – 2,13 bar)
- 21°C; 35 – 40 PSI (2,41 – 2,75 bar)
- 24°C; 35 – 45 PSI (2,41 – 3,10 bar)
- 29°C; 45 – 55 PSI (3,10 – 3,79 bar)
- 35°C; 50 – 55 PSI (3,44 – 3,79 bar)
- 41°C; 50 – 55 PSI (3,44 – 3,79 bar)

The product contains 5 active ingredients that are released in successive steps:
STEP #1 - DRYING
Highest content of DEHYDRATING chemical compounds - dries the A/C system and protects against harmful water molecules, which can damage the compressor during freezing temperatures.
STEP #2 - SEALING RUBBER ELEMENTS
Seals rubber components, including O-rings, which shrink over time. The chemical sealant increases the volume of the seals and restores their factory elasticity.
STEP #3 - SEALING ALUMINIUM ELEMENTS
Seals aluminium components, including pipes, which corrode as the vehicle ages. This sealant fills micro-perforations and protects weak spots in the metal system.
STEP #4 - LUBRICATION
It lubricates the compressor with synthetic oil recommended by most compressor manufacturers. This reduces friction and energy and fuel consumption, and also makes the compressor quieter.
STEP #5 - ADDING THE MISSING R1234YF AGENT
It supplements the missing component when using lighter hydrocarbon gases. The capacity of the preparation is equivalent to nearly 700 grams of the original R1234yf refrigerant.
